Now this one is a positive surprise.. Dont be too hyped by the taboo word "GAY" as the director has sent across the social message with complete ease in this two and a half hour breezey masala entertainer. All credits to the cast n crew.. two thumbs up ! To actually describe, the movie was a Laugh Riot nothing cheap and AB was just brilliant. Priyanka has never looked this sexy & innocent before and to those people who wrote that John can’t act even on a gunpoint after Kabul Express.. please do watch this one. Bobby was likeable, Boman & Kirron Kher were as always treat to watch. You may say the traces were there in Kal Ho Na Ho but this will just completely make you mad especially Beedi song. The chemistry betwn Jon and Abhishek is just fantastic and is bound to make Ash & Bips jealous. The songs are catchey with Maa Da Laadla & Desi Girl being the best of lot.. A Must Watch !!

Dabangg 2 Review

EXPECTATIONS Really, one doesn't have to think much before setting any expectations from the music of  Dabangg 2 . You know the genre it would belong to, the audience it would target, the winning formula it would try to replicate and the element of fun that would be at the core of it all. Just like one associates certain kind of music coming from the house of Bhatts, even Salman Khan and Sajid-Wajid combination carries its unique identity as well. As long as one gets that, rest assured the strong fan-base of Salman, which is especially strong in the interiors, is expected to be content. With  Dabangg 2  aiming at that very segment, you are pretty much sure about the brief that Arbaaz Khan must have given to Sajid-Wajid and lyricists Sameer, Jalees Sherwani, Ashraf Ali and Irfan Kamal.  MUSIC One can see that there is an obvious attempt by the makers to replicate musical situations from Dabangg  as-is in the film's sequel as well. For starters, here are a few samples of what the writers of Luck probably think is outstanding dialogue: "Yeh khud khushi nahi, yeh khud ki khushi hai." "Kuchh cards aise hote hai jo khelne waalon ko hi pack kar dete hai." "Laxmi tujhe tika lagane aayi hai, aur tu Id ka chand bana hua hai?" "Kamaaya to juan, gavaaya toh maut ka kuan." ...And my personal favorite: "Tumhe paiso ki zaroorat hai, mujhe tujh jaiso ki zaroorat hai." Need I really say more? Luck's script (actually a slapdash mess that is just an apology of one) is generously laced with priceless gems like these, unintentionally hilarious 'punchlines' that masquerade as smart dialogue. Despite almost uniformly awful performances, I almost feel like handing out an award to the cast of Luck for actually managing to mouth such ridiculous inanities with a straight face and a laudable, even if failed attempt at seriousness.
